CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Cincinnati Police Department says it has charged an eighth man in connection with the downtown brawl that captured the nation’s attention.

Cincinnati police public information officer Lt. Jonathan Cunningham announced the charges Tuesday evening.

A 45-year-old white man is charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor to the fourth degree, for his role in the brawl, according to Cunningham.

Police say this man is also considered a victim of the brawl, so they are prohibited from releasing his identity due to Marsy’s Law.

The man was sent a Notice to Appear and will be in court Aug. 26.

Police say they’re still investigating and ask anyone who may be a witness or has information to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
