A Winthrop man pleaded not guilty to charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct on Monday, two days after throngs of people riding bicycles, dirt bikes, and motorized scooters descended on Interstate 93 and other major roads in Boston.

Adam Fredrick Harrison, 22, allegedly brake checked and performed “stunts” in front of a State Police cruiser before crashing into it on Seaport Road on Saturday afternoon, court records show.

He was released on personal recognizance after his arraignment in South Boston Municipal Court.

Harrison, who was accompanied by a woman, did not speak with a reporter while leaving the courthouse.

He was arrested in South Boston Saturday near the intersection of D and Summer streets while riding a bicycle, court documents show.
