OMAHA, Neb. —

A woman detained in a federal immigration raid at Glenn Valley Foods earlier this year has been granted release on bond by a federal judge.

Maria Jacinto Reynosa appeared in federal court Tuesday. Senior U.S. District Judge Joseph Bataillon ruled in her favor and asked Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to bring all detainees, in the same situation, to court because his "stance doesn't change."

“What we heard from the bench today was a message to ICE and the U.S. attorney that, even the court understands that these due process violations should not continue,” said Mindy Rush Chipman, executive director of the Nebraska ACLU.

The court found 16 detainees had been granted release on bond but still remain in ICE custody at the Lincoln County Jail detention
