Still coming to terms with a large dose of apathy after last night’s game, so this will be brief. Eduardo Rodriguez will look to build on one of his best starts of the season, throwing seven innings for the first time as a D-back. And at Coors Field as well! Of course, it was against the Rockies, who – even with the altitude in their home games – rank 29th in the majors for runs per game, at a feeble 3.78. Take them out of Denver, and the Rockies become dead last, with a startling 2.62. They’re on pace to score just 213 runs on the road, which in the live-ball era would be ahead just of the 1972 Indians: they scored 209, but only played 79 away. Which is a long way of not putting too much stock in E-Rod’s last outing.
