MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – On Tuesday, Your News Leader spoke with Rep. Julie Fedorchak, R-N.D., on a series of topics, including the recent peace talks over the war in Ukraine.
Fedorchak praised President Donald Trump for arranging the meetings, and said she was “cautiously optimistic” a peace deal could be negotiated with Trump’s help to bring the war to an end.
“While we can always wish that things had happened faster or more completely, right now, we are moving in the right direction, and this is the first time since this war broke out that we’ve had these kinds of talks and made this kind of progress,” said Fedorchak.
