LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A new negotiated agreement was approved Tuesday between teachers and the Clark County School District (CCSD).

The two-year agreement, which spans 2025-2027, brings an estimated $214 million in compensation and benefits for licensed teachers, a 10% increase according to a CCSD news release Tuesday night.

Details of the agreement include: • Step advancement in each year of the contract • Approximately $1,600 per year for those who earn a step advancement • Column advancement in each year of the contract • Approximately $6,500 per year for those who earn a column advancement • 6% increase in health insurance contributions per year • $28 million increase in contributions over 2 years
