Drivers in Asbury Park will have to slow down , as a new citywide 25 mph speed limit is now in effect.

Main Street and Memorial Drive will see their speed limits drop from 30 mph to 25 mph, the city announced Monday. All other streets in the city already had 25 mph speed limits.

The Main Street signage was installed earlier this month, and Memorial Drive will see updated signage soon.
