Both men were travelling up Shelford Hill

A Nottingham junior school teacher knocked a fitness-loving cyclist off his bike after colliding with him as they were both travelling to work. Steven Mayfield’s own dashcam footage showed him following an Audi through Shelford village before accelerating and overtaking it at speed, pulling in and hitting the victim as he rode up Shelford Hill.

On the clip, the 41-year-old, of Gedling , then turns around and drives back to the scene where the Audi driver could be seen running to the rider’s aid.
