MARS — Borough council passed a resolution during their meeting on Monday night, Aug. 18, to revise the borough’s paving regulations.
The revision removed a section of the ordinance regarding the excavation and subsequent restoration of borough roads which were paved five years or more prior to the excavation or opening. The expunged section mandated that the restored road surface be at least as long as the opening plus 10 feet on all four sides of the opening, or “as directed in writing by the borough after a field review.”
