The last words – or word – of a cold-blooded killer executed for a gruesome murder 40-years-ago have been revealed. Kayle Bates, 67, was pronounced dead at 6:17pm on Tuesday at Florida State Prison , after receiving a three-drug cocktail that stopped his heart.
