Good morning! Today will be another hot and humid day with highs ranging from 89 to 93 degrees. The heat index will approach 100 during the hottest part of the day. Scattered showers and storms will fire up after lunchtime and continue through this evening. Some of these storms will have gusty winds of 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Localized flooding will also be a possibility, so keep a close eye on the radar!

Thursday and Friday are trending drier with highs ranging from the upper 80s to the lower 90s. Temperatures are expected to drop back into the 80s this weekend, with scattered storms possible on Saturday and Sunday.
