The trial for a Cumberland County substitute teacher accused of indecent liberties with teens in 2023 that was scheduled for August has been continued to September.

A jury trial for La'Kisha Renee Davis , scheduled for Aug. 18, has now been reset for Sept. 19.

Davis worked as a substitute teacher districtwide from September 2014 to March 2023 and also as a volunteer pep squad coach at New Century International Middle School, according to Cumberland County Schools.
