History: Flint native Rio Da Yung OG is a prolific rapper who racked up millions of streams while on house arrest for drug trafficking charges in 2019. In a six-year period while battling his legal issues, he's managed to produce, record and release more than a dozen albums, EPs and mixtapes. The most recent is "F.L.I.N.T. (Feeling Like I'm Not Thru)" which dropped Aug. 10 on Boyz Entertainment / Empire.

Rio Da Yung OG has a huge following on social media, too, with more than a million fans on Instagram . His new song "Great Day" got 1.5 million views on YouTube in the first month.
