A Gladiators star has undergone surgery after suffering an injury while filming the popular BBC series, and issued a 'never easy' social media update.
The alternative sporting competition initially premiered on ITV in 1992, with members of the public taking on athletes in a series of physical challenges.
Also having a short-lived revival on Sky One in the late 2000s, the BBC brought back Gladiators following 15 years of demands from fans.
Presented by father and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh, the reboot introduced fans to a new set of Gladiators, including Strictly Come Dancing 2025 contestant Harry Aikines-Aryeetey.
With the conclusion of the second season airing in June, won by gym owner Amanda Wah and gymnastics coach Joe Fishburn, the third season is currently being filmed
