Crystal Hill, the superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, said funding will be a significant challenge for the coming school year, namely the uncertainties of federal and state dollars.
While speaking at a Tuesday morning media briefing, Hill did not go into specifics but said CMS leaders may have to “rewire their brains” and think differently about efficiencies.
“That’s really hard when you’re asking people to think differently when we’ve done things so long,” Hill said.
Other discussion topics included information about “Infinite Campus,” a platform that helps parents stay informed about their students’ curriculum and new safety protocols.
