An Atlantic County school district is considering a last-minute change to make start times later for all grade levels, officials said.

Pleasantville Public Schools is the latest New Jersey school district to discuss a later start time amid national concerns about students, particularly teenagers, not getting enough sleep.

The district enrolls students in four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.

Under the proposal, the reporting time at Pleasantville High School would move from 7:45 a.m. to 8 a.m., according to Fox 29 Philadelphia.

Students would report to the Middle School of Pleasantville by 8:30 a.m, instead of 8:05 a.m. At the four elementary schools, classes would begin at 9 a.m., instead of 8:50 a.m., the report said.
