With federal cuts to Medicaid on the horizon, Delaware health care providers and lawmakers are beginning conversations about how the state's health care industry and patients could be affected.

Sen. Marie Pinkney, who chairs the state Senate health and social services committee, will host a roundtable talk on Aug. 20 at the Route 9 Library & Innovation Center near New Castle. The event will bring together doctors, hospital leaders, state officials and community health care organizations to discuss how the state can respond if federal funding is reduced as projected.
