PATASKALA, Ohio — A woman who worked at a day care center is facing a criminal charge after she was accused of using painters tape to bind a 1-year-old child’s hands, feet and eyes.

The Columbus Dispatch reports Katelyn Strohacker, 23, of Granville, also is accused of leaving the baby girl unattended after binding her. Strohacker is charged with endangering children.

WBNS Channel 10 reports that Licking County Court Records show the incident occurred on July 21 at Over the Rainbow Children Center in Pataskala.

According to WSYX Channel 6 , Strohacker admitted to the accusations and had done it more than once. Investigators say she left the restrained baby face-down under a blanket for more than an hour.
