Smoke from two brush fires burning this Wednesday in the Everglades is drifting over South Florida and causing concern about air quality, officials said.

A fire dubbed the Mile Marker 39 fire had burned nearly 20,000 acres as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Forest Service. They said the second fire, named the Sawgrass Fire, had burned approximately 250 acres as of Wednesday afternoon. Both fires were 0% contained.

Both fires are far inland in Broward County and northwest of Fort Lauderdale. The Florida Forest Service told CBS News Miami that the wildfires are not impacting properties as of late Wednesday morning.
