(Undated)--Many shoppers across the area are doing back-to-school shopping for their children. Parents should keep their receipts and claim a tax credit come tax time.
Minnesota Department of Revenue Commissioner Paul Marquard says "parents are buying school supplies and it's exciting for the students to go back to school." He says parents can make this time of the year "even more exciting by using a significant tax benefit that will lower their taxes and help them pay for those school expenses."
