Coronation Street fans believe they've worked out Eli Merton's secret sibling in a huge DNA twist. ‌

Eli (Daniel Garcia) made his debut on the ITV soap this Monday (August 18), turning up in Weatherfield for a business meeting at Underworld. ‌

Taking over client duties from Carla Connor (Alison King), Sarah Platt ( Tina O'Brien ) greeted a late and flustered Eli at the factory. ‌

However, Sarah remained oblivious to the fact that her boyfriend, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), was the "over zealous traffic cop" who had delayed Eli by demanding to search his vehicle after he had parked illegally.
