Could Addison Rae possibly hit the stage at the 2025 MTV VMAs , after all? At least, that’s what VMA nominee and breakout musician, Sombr, might have implied during a recent interview with TMZ .

Sombr’s highly anticipated album, I Barely Know Her , drops on August 22 , and in a few weeks, he’s set to make his awards show debut at the VMAs . The Best New Artist and Best Alternative Artist nominee played coy when the outlet asked whether Addison would be involved with his performance in any capacity.

After a suspiciously long pause, he shrugged and said, “You never know! I think she’s on tour.”

The “Diet Pepsi” artist is embarking on her first-ever headlining tour this fall and performing in Berlin, Germany, on September 7—the same day the VMAs are taking place in New York. W
