THE newly revamped US Open mixed doubles is heading for a thrilling finale.

Just four pairs remain in the hunt for the mammoth $1million (£736,880) jackpot .

Top seeds Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper survived a blockbuster first round clash with Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz to progress to the quarter-finals.

The pair got their tournament underway with a straight sets win before booking their spot in the last four with a comfortable 4-1 4-1 victory over Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev.

Pegula and Draper have a lot to do before getting their hands on the title, with the incredible duo of Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud first standing in their way in the semis.
