The Billboard Hot 100 is widely considered to be the definitive all-genre singles chart in the US.
Since the chart was launched in 1958, well over 1,000 songs have reached the coveted No. 1 spot, but far fewer have reigned long enough to reach double-digit weeks — or, even more impressively, surpass that milestone.
According to Billboard, only 4% of all No. 1 hits have topped the Hot 100 for 10 weeks or more. All 47 songs that have achieved the feat are listed below, in chronological order.
