“Survivor” is back for Season 49 — its final outing with new contestants before next spring’s landmark 50th season, which will feature a cast of returning players for the first time since 2020.

The contestants range from age 25 to 52 this season. Among the 18 castaways, as previously reported by Variety , is “Black Panther” producer and former Marvel Cinematic Universe executive Nate Moore. The cast also includes four people who work in the realm of law: a political communications director, a law clerk, a financial crime consultant and a correctional officer. Also part of the cast are a musician, an airport ramp agent, a clinical social worker and a rocket scientist.
