During Tuesday's Washoe County Commissioners meeting, commissioners approved two contracts for construction work at the new Washoe Behavioral Health Center.
The center was previously West Hills.
The board approved a contract with Plenium Builders as the CMAR for the comprehensive renovation of the existing 47,000 square foot building and approved the guaranteed maximum price of $6.4 million for the project.
The board also awarded a contract of just over $1 million to H and K Architects for final architectural and engineering design services necessary to complete the project.
