The Clark County School Board approved a new teacher contract last night.
Highlights of the two-year contract with the Clark County Education Association include an increased district contribution to teachers’ healthcare benefits, a confirmation of the pay incentives for teachers in "hard-to-fill” positions that had been secured earlier this year through legislative action, and the opportunity for veteran teachers to request a review of their placement on the salary table.
