The impacts of Denver's layoffs are beginning to become clear as the mayor on Wednesday revealed the specific positions that were cut this week in a staff town hall.
A total of 169 people were laid off, 666 vacant positions were eliminated and 92 employees were transferred, according to documents obtained by The Denver Gazette from a source who attended Mayor Mike Johnston's meeting.
Denver's social equity and innovation agency is among the hardest hit, with 10 employees laid off and two vacant positions eliminated. That accounted for 23.1% of the agency's workforce.
