The big news of course is the starting quarterback. Redshirt freshman CJ Carr was named the starter against Miami yesterday after a competition between him and redshirt sophomore Kenny Minchey. It was a competition that was described as very tight by coaches and reporters, but in the end CJ Carr won the job.
