Thirty people set to the skies Saturday after reaching their fundraising goals to benefit the Light of Life Rescue Mission.
The big jump Saturday was the result of the nonprofit's Soar 2025 fundraiser. Thirty people who raised money for the organization, which serves Pittsburgh's poor and homeless populations, got to take to the skies in Mercer County.
Faith Wolfley, the wife of Craig Wolfley, a former Steelers player who died in March, was one of the participants. Faith Wolfley jumped out of the plane wearing her late husband's jersey.
Craig Wolfley and the late Steeler Tunch Ilkin both worked extensively with the Light of Life Rescue Mission.
"Tunch would have been thrilled to do this today. Craig would not have, but he would have gone because Tunch would have questioned his manhood
