A mixed-use development is moving toward completion in Redmond. Construction has begun on a new seven-story, mixed-use apartment project backed by a $15.6 million investment from Amazon, according to a report from the Puget Sound Business Journal. Located at 2110 152nd Ave. NE, the project, called 152nd Overlake, is near the new Overlake Village light rail station, the development aims to address the region’s housing crisis by dedicating more than half of its 223 units to lower-income residents with below-market rents for qualifying residents locked in for 99 years. The developers are Johnson & Carr and Stellar Holdings.
