LEXINGTON, KY - Kentucky running back Seth McGowan has been named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List, it was announced Wednesday by SPORTyler. The award is presented annually to the nation’s most outstanding Division I offensive player who graduated from a Texas high school or plays at a four-year college in Texas. McGowan is a native of Mesquite, Texas, where he was a standout at Poteet High School.

McGowan, a 6-foot-1, 215-pound senior, is in his first season at Kentucky after playing one season at New Mexico State (2024), one season at Butler (Kansas) Community College (2023) and one season at Oklahoma (2020).

Overall, he has played in 20 career games in Division I (eight at Oklahoma and 12 at New Mexico State) with 11 starting assignments (all at New Mexico State). He
