SARATOGA SPRINGS — Mo Plex had an opportunity to return to New York-bred company in the $200,000 Albany at Saratoga Race Course on Thursday, but Capital Region residents Howard Read and Rick Higgins will swing for the fences again with him again in the Grade I Pennsylvania Derby on Sept. 20 at Parx.

Mo Plex, who was fourth to Sovereignty in the Grade II Jim Dandy on July 26, has two wins against open company in stakes races since the last time he ran against state-breds, a third in the Gander at Aqueduct on March 8.
