But even as the Euphoria actress was in the middle of ending her relationship with fiancé Jonathan Davino in March after seven years together, Paul Feig —who directed Sydney in the upcoming film The Housemaid —was impressed that she never brought her personal life to the set.

“She was completely present emotionally,” Paul told the Wall Street Journal in an interview published Aug. 20, “just up for anything, and really didn’t bring any issues to set.”

He added, “And I know she was going through some things when this was going on—I mean, now everybody knows about her engagement falling apart and breaking off and all that.”
