After an exciting first day, the US Open Mixed Doubles tournament is coming to a close with semifinal and final matches tonight.
The new-look tournament debuted with some of the sport’s top talent yesterday; now, the remaining four mixed pairs will play for the $1 million prize.
Three Americans are among the players taking part in the semifinals; the all-American pair of Danielle Collins and Christian Harrison will take on Italians Andrea Vavassori and Sara Errani, who are the defending US Open champions in mixed doubles, in the second semifinal.
