Jake Paul and Gervonta "Tank" Davis are scheduled to face each other in an exhibition boxing match on November 14. The event will take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be broadcast on Netflix.

Davis, 30, is the reigning WBA Lightweight champion. His last fight was on March 1, 2025, against Lamont Roach Jr., which ended in a draw. Fans had anticipated a rematch, but with the upcoming bout against Paul, it remains uncertain when that will occur. Paul last fought in June 2025, where he secured a unanimous decision victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in a 10-round cruiserweight match.

The two fighters are familiar with each other. Following Paul's victory over boxing legend Mike Tyson in November 2024, Davis criticized Paul on social media. He stated, "Gervonta who has been disrespecting my name for too long. His nickname might be Tank, but I’m an FPV drone and I’m about to disable tiny boy. Yes, he’s 1 of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds. First, I am going to kill David, then I will go on to slaughter Goliath."

Davis has not yet publicly commented on the upcoming fight. Initially, Paul had been in discussions to fight Anthony Joshua, but those negotiations fell through. Instead, he will now take on Davis, who boasts an impressive record of 30 wins, no losses, and one draw.

While the match is classified as an exhibition, it will not allow Paul to contend for Davis's WBA title. Reports suggest that the fight may take place at a middleweight limit of 195 pounds, despite Davis's usual fighting weight of 135 pounds. Paul had previously indicated that any bout with Davis would need to be an exhibition.

In March, Paul expressed optimism about the potential matchup, stating, "Definitely. There's been discussions for sure behind the scenes, and I think it's something we both really want to happen." With the fight now confirmed, fans are eager to see how this clash between two prominent figures in boxing unfolds.
