HOUSTON COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Both lanes of State Highway 21 have been closed Wednesday after a wreck west of Crockett.

According to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened about 4.5 miles west of Crocket and both lanes have been closed to traffic.

Deputies, along with other EMS responders are on the scene.

The sheriff’s office asks drivers to avoid the area and find other routes of travel.
