CROWN POINT — A judge sentenced a Gary man to five years in prison Wednesday for his role in two burglaries, which included a break-in at a Hammond strip club.
Christian Felkamp, 24, sawed a hole Nov. 22, 2024, into the roof of the Fantasy Gentleman's Club, 3850 179th St., and used a battery-powered angle grinder to cut into the club's ATM, according to court records.
On Jan. 25, while out on bond for the strip club burglary, he went to a fenced storage yard near the Southlake Mall and stole a trailer carrying four spools of wire that belonged to NIPSCO, court records show.
Felkamp pleaded guilty to two counts of felony burglary, each count representing each incident. Burglary is a level five felony, which carries a possible sentence of one to six years in prison. Lak
