FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Fresno Police say they are looking for multiple people responsible for stabbing an unhoused man to death in Fresno on Tuesday.

According to officials, police received a call reporting a large-scale fight near the intersection of Grant Avenue and Orchard Street. When officers arrived, they found one victim who'd been stabbed in the torso. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

On Wednesday, officials identified the victim as 31-year-old Cecil Deloney.

During their investigation, police say homicide detectives have interviewed multiple witnesses who reported seeing several men chase Deloney into the intersection before assaulting him. Police say Deloney was a member of
