After eight months of waiting , Nordstrom Rack is opening this week, and customers will have a chance to win a $1,000 gift card during the grand opening.

The Seattle-based fashion retailer, Nordstrom Rack, initially announced a Lubbock location in December 2024. At 9 a.m. Thursday, the 30,000 sq. ft. store at 2624 W. Loop 289 will be officially open for shoppers.

Nordstrom Rack offers "up to 70% off on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty products, home decor and shoes from many of the top brands." Those brands include Nike, Birkenstock, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Madewell, Michael Kors and New Balance.
