It offers those eligible a one-off £150 discount on their electricity bill, in a bid to help households manage their fuel costs, particularly over winter.

But customers have to be named on their electricity bill to receive the help - with suppliers set to rely on customers’ records as of Sunday, August 24 to decide who receives the £150 in October.
