DRIPA adds obstacles to incorporation of OK Falls
Matt Taylor, director for Area D (Skaha East and Okanagan Falls) on the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) board, met face-to-face last Thursday in ascendancy in Vancouver with Christine Boyle, British Columbia’s new Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs, to discuss delays in Okanagan Falls’ incorporation. The meeting followed a heated August 6 Town Hall where residents expressed frustration over stalled progress since a March referendum, with 588 voting for incorporation and 512 against.
