BEDFORD— A Bedford woman has been sentenced to the Indiana Department of Correction after her probation was revoked. Fonda R. Drehobl, 49, received the sentence from Lawrence Superior Court I Judge John M. Plummer III on Wednesday, August 20, for failing to comply with her probation terms.

Drehobl had previously pleaded guilty to battery with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 felony, as part of a negotiated plea agreement. She was initially sentenced to four years in the Indiana Department of Correction, with the sentence suspended and three years of supervised probation.

According to Chief Deputy Prosecutor Joshua Scherschel, Drehobl violated her probation numerous times, which led to the revocation of her suspended sentence. Judge Plummer ordered her to serve 1,276 days in the Indiana Depart
