It says it’s from Missouri Veteran Assistance. It’s a sponsored ad, touting vets with an honorable discharge and no DUIs can get up to $712. It says it’s legit. Click to claim it. But look closely at the website URL.

“Scammers can spoof websites or put a website in an ad, and it’s certainly not where you are going to go,” said Pamela Hernandez with the Better Business Bureau. If something claims to be a government program and it’s a .COM and not a .GOV, that should make you think twice.
