The NASCAR Cup Series announced on Wednesday, Aug. 20, that it will return to Iowa Speedway in 2026.

The Iowa Corn 350 powered by Ethanol will take place on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026.

Iowa Speedway opened in 2006 and had long been a fixture on the NTT IndyCar Series, ARCA Menards Series, NASCAR Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series schedules. In 2024, NASCAR awarded the 7/8 mile track its first date for the top stock-car series schedule in the country. The 2026 season will mark the third straight year it races in Iowa.

Sam Mayer won the Hy-Vee Perks 250 , his second straight Xfinity Series race in NASCAR's top developmental series during the 22nd Xfinity Series race at the track. Next year, NASCAR will rename that series the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, and it will hold a race in Iowa on S
