DANVILLE, ARK. - The community of Danville comes together as they mourn the loss of a high school senior. 17-year-old Nate Foster passed away on Tuesday. He played football for the Danville Little Johns.

Head Coach DJ Crane has known Nate since he was a kid.

“It was devastating, it was heartbreaking, but our town is rallying and drawing strength from each other,” Crane said.

In Danville, you'll see signs and cars with the number 18 on them and the phrase "Live Like Nate Foster.”

“Nate was a true definition of Little John,” Crane said.

He played linebacker for the Danville Little Johns.

“As a player and student and young man, he's really what you would want in a young man - respectful, hardworking, servant's heart type kid,” Crane said.
