A Wisconsin mother was allegedly discovered living with the decomposing remains of her 10-month-old daughter in a cardboard box and told police that she "had no control over how she died." ‌

Law and Crime reported that on Monday, officers were summoned to the home of 28 year old Shyanna Brothers following a call from a neighbour who reported a foul smell and told authorities that it "smelled as if someone was dead inside." ‌

According to the criminal complaint obtained by The Mirror U.S., police arrived at the property around 1:00 a. m on August 13, 2025, after receiving the call from the concerned neighbour. The news comes as an ice cream seller stabbed to death in London was named as another man was arrested. ‌
