STATEWIDE -- Each Fall before referendum elections, the Secretary of State's Office publishes a citizen's guide to that referendum election which contains the exact wording for each question voters will face, and an explanation. Also in that guide are comments from the public on each question, and the deadline to submit your comments for possible publication in this year's guide is fast approaching.

The Secretary of State's Office says any individual, corporation, political action committee or other organization may file public comments in support of, or in opposition to, a ballot measure for publication in the guide. The Division of Elections allows for up to six comment submissions on each referendum question: three in support and three in opposition.
