The baseball team from Sioux Falls saw its run in the Little League World Series come to an end on Aug. 20, falling 7-6 at the hands of Team Southeast, from Irmo, South Carolina.

Sioux Falls took an early lead when Camden Tycz scored on a SAC fly from Bohde Larson to make it a 1-0 game. The contest would stay that way deep into the night until Team Southeast tied things up in the bottom of the sixth to send the game to extra innings.

The South Dakotans saw the bats explode in the top half of the seventh frame, scoring five runs to take a 6-1 lead heading into the bottom half of the inning. But Team Southeast was just as powerful in the bottom of the frame, scoring six and walking the game off thanks to an Andrew Bogan that brought two runners in.
