A Mayfield man was arrested Wednesday in connection with undercomver methamphetamine trafficking purchases in June.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said purchases had been made from 25-year-old Tyson B. Chambers from locations within the city limits of Mayfield, during the month of June. Since that time, Chambers went on the run hiding from authorities.

A surveillance operation Wednesday led to the capture of Chambers on the south end of the city. Chambers was arrested in the parking lot of a business.

He was charged with two counts of selling methamphetamine.Chambers also has previous convictions for methamphetamine possession, felony lefeing, criminal trespass, bail jumping, and criminal mischief.

Chambers was taken to an out of county detention facility.
